The 2026 NJUA Annual Conference will tackle head-on several key themes and challenges the utility industry and the state will be facing this year. It is no secret the industry is under intense pressure to meet the growing demand for electricity, gas, telecommunications and water services. Much of this pressure is driven by factors such as Artificial Intelligence, electrification, and the retirement of legacy generation, while ensuring that customers’ service remains safe, reliable and affordable. 

This year’s Annual Conference will bring together high-level executives from utilities, government agencies and business to discuss innovative ideas about how to do more with less. This mandate occurs as our state is confronted with an array of complex, constantly evolving pressures ranging from economic uncertainty, humanitarian needs, inflation, pandemics, and climate change.
