Erick Ford, NJ Energy Coalition
Erick Ford is considered one of New Jersey’s leading thought leaders for energy. He is the Executive Director of the NJ Energy Coalition, Chair of NJ Society for Economic, Environmental Development’s (NJSEED) energy committee, was the confidential aide to the President of the NJ Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) and confidential aide another BPU Commissioner. Prior to entering public service, Erick worked in the corporate world and in Washington, D.C. Erick has a keen understanding of the nexus of good government policy and business.
Erick has moderated and served on panels discussing energy and utility policy, energy efficiency, solar, offshore wind, electric vehicle, hydrogen, nuclear energy, and incentive programs at forums like NARUC, NJBIA, and EUCI. Erick has guest lectured at Rowan University, Stockton University, Drexel University, and Stevens Institute on utility, solar energy, and government policy.
Erick is civically active, serving on the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey. Erick graduated from George Mason University where he studied Global Affairs and Business and has a real estate license. Erick resides in Laurel Springs, NJ with his wife Elizabeth and three daughters Reagan, Madison, and Taylor.
