Background
Meyerson is responsible for Invest Newark’s plan to bring broadband internet access to all Newark residents, along with retaining, expanding, and attracting more high-growth businesses to Newark.
Meyerson joined Invest Newark after he served as New York City’s deputy chief technology officer for broadband, where he led the implementation of New York’s internet master plan. In New York, Meyerson also represented the city’s financing effort for the construction and preservation of over 2,000 affordable housing units.
