SOUTH PLAINFIELD - On Monday, July 21, PSE&G will open the doors of its Cragwood office in South Plainfield to local high school students for an interactive Q&A session with current summer interns. The event, scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. at 40 Cragwood Road, is designed as an informal panel where attendees can gain firsthand insights into academic and career planning from active college students working across various disciplines at the company.
The panelists—current PSE&G interns—will address a broad spectrum of topics relevant to students preparing for their next steps after high school. Issues on the agenda include choosing a college and selecting a major, exploring STEM opportunities and careers in the electric utility field, and offering practical advice for students weighing their postsecondary options.
Additional session details will be shared with participants after they register for the event.
Organizers emphasize that the event is open to all high school students, reflecting PSE&G’s ongoing commitment to local education and workforce development. The session is part of an initiative led by the company’s South Plainfield Local Inclusion Team, an employee-driven group that focuses on local inclusion education and volunteer events.
