Utility Assistance Program Featured in Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE - Utility leaders in New Jersey are expressing appreciation to Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac and his team for hosting an outreach event to an estimated 125 township seniors who attended a forum on March 11 at the Maple Tree Senior Center in Avenel.

The seniors learned about utility assistance and other cost saving programs that are available to reduce electric, gas and water bills. Special appreciation was extended to Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez (D-19th Dist.) BPU Commissioner Marian Abdou and NJUA President & CEO Richard Henning for serving as guest speakers.
