Thank you for attending the
NJUA’S 111th ANNUAL CONFERENCE
BUSINESS AS UNUSUAL
And thank you to our many sponsors
The 2026 NJUA Annual Conference tackled head-on several key themes and challenges the utility industry and the state will be facing this year. It is no secret the industry is under intense pressure to meet the growing demand for electricity, gas, telecommunications and water services. Much of this pressure is driven by factors such as Artificial Intelligence, electrification, and the retirement of legacy power generation, while ensuring that service remains safe, reliable and affordable.
This year’s Annual Conference brought together high-level executives from utilities, government agencies and business to discuss innovative ideas about how to do more with less. This mandate occurs as our state is confronted with an array of complex, constantly evolving pressures ranging from economic uncertainty, humanitarian needs, inflation, pandemics, and climate change.
More than ever, “Business as Unusual” is the theme that forces a more transformative approach to business that encourages organizations to rethink their strategies in light of rapid changes in the present environment.
