NJUA Tours Veolia Water Treatment Plant in Haworth

HAWORTH — The team at New Jersey Utilities Association recently visited Veolia North America’s water purification facility in Haworth, where they met with company leaders to discuss current legislative and regulatory issues affecting the state’s utilities.

The visit included a tour of the high-tech facility, which provides drinking water to more than 1 million residents in Bergen and Hudson counties. Veolia’s team shared insights on infrastructure investment, affordability and sustainability efforts that help ensure safe, reliable service to customers throughout the region.

NJUA thanked Veolia for hosting the visit and for its continued partnership in supporting New Jersey’s utility customers and communities.
